The Construction Management degree course is designed to meet the needs of the modern construction industry. It will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to manage a construction project from concept and design through to construction and operation.

Upon graduation, you will be proficient in delivering construction projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards and construction standards. In addition, you will be able to apply the core theories, concepts and principles of construction management, including measurement, building assessment and performance, design and constructability. You will also have a solid foundation in general business management theory.

As a Construction Management graduate, you will be able to apply evidence-based methods to analysis, evaluation, decision-making, and problem-solving in the construction industry, which will establish you as a qualified specialist and match the needs of employers.

Applicants Must be Aged 18+ and:

  • Have a Level 3 qualification (equivalent to either 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points)
  • Have the following English and Math’s qualification: GCSE grade 4/C or CEFR B1.
  • Be assessed via an interview for listening, speaking, numeracy and writing (more details shown in ‘Next steps’ section).

 

Applicants Aged 21+: 

  • We welcome applications from students 21+ who do not match the standard entry requirements but who can demonstrate willingness and commitment to studying this subject, and who can evidence academic, professional or vocational experience in a related field.
