There is no written examination on this course. Instead, students research current issues in the health and social care sector and complete an independent research project. Those already working in the sector will be able to research real-world issues in their field.
Project Requirements:
- Organization Selection: Select an organisation that you know about or that has public or academic information readily available.
- Project Proposal: Explain the importance and relevance of the research.
- Ethical Approval: If your project requires primary data collection, apply for ethical approval in advance.
- Final Report: Present the results of the research in a way that is useful to management or the executive team.

Support and Supervision:
Each student will be assigned a supervisor who will provide guidance at every stage of the research process.
