This course is designed to provide you with the opportunity to gain expertise in degree-level study. This programme will enable you to build a career in health and social care, even if your academic qualifications are not sufficient to gain entry to a general bachelor’s degree.

This course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), which means that upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership certificate. This will confirm your skills and competence in the health and care management sector.

This course is also accredited by the Institute of Health & Social Care Management (IHSCM), which ensures that the quality of the course and the quality of teaching meet international standards.

Our course is developed and delivered by experienced professionals and industry leaders from the health and social care sector. Directors from the NHS, IHSCM, and digital health tech firms have designed this course to help you gain real-world skills.

You have 3-9 years to complete this course, meaning you can take up to 3 years to complete each level. Most of our students, however, aim to complete the course within 3-6 years.

Unlike on more traditional degree programmes, you won’t be sitting any exams on the BSc (Hons) Health and Care Management. To enter our BSc (Hons) Health and Care Management (including Foundation Year) programme, you must meet the following requirements:

  • At least 3 GCSEs or equivalent 45 credit Level 2 qualifications.
  • If your academic qualification is more than 3 years old, you must submit a professional CV.
  • If you do not have an academic qualification, you must have at least 12 months of professional work experience, which must be evidenced by your CV and references.
  • This course also has an Apprenticeship route: Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (BSc Hons) Health and Care Management (CMI) with NHS Mary Seacole Award.

English Proficiency:

  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no band less than 5.5 is acceptable).
  • If you have previously studied in English, this can be proven by an official letter.
