The first year (Foundation Year) will help you develop basic skills and knowledge, which will serve as a foundation for more in-depth learning in the next three years. During this time, you will learn in-depth about entrepreneurship development and new business management, and will have the opportunity to choose your own specialized learning path in the final year.

This course will teach you the techniques to turn business ideas into reality. It will not only help you build a personal business, but will also enrich your knowledge of how an organization creates jobs, contributes to economic growth and brings about social change.

You will be able to test your ideas in real-life business situations, where the skills of creating a business plan will be acquired. This course will analyze how strategy, strategic planning, and innovation work in different business models.

The assessment strategy for this course will provide you with the opportunity to learn through real-world situations. In almost all modules, you will be given the opportunity to use your own business ideas, so that you can receive constructive feedback and further improve your plans.

Assessments provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities required in a business environment. Assessment methods include:

Students will be required to undertake regular self-study, which is essential for success. Our teachers will guide you on how to undertake self-study.

For applicants aged 18+:

  • Level 3 qualification (equivalent to 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points)
  • GCSE Grade 4/C or CEFR B1 for English proficiency (if not available, there is an opportunity to take an English test)

For applicants aged 21+:

We welcome applications from students who do not meet the standard entry requirements but can demonstrate an interest and commitment to study in this subject and can demonstrate academic, professional or technical experience.
